Analysis, Design and Development of Arduino Based Women Safety Device Using IoT[]

This paper describes about a touch alarming system for women’s safety using GSM. This helps to identify protect and call on resources to help the one out of dangerous situations. Anytime you senses danger, all you had to do, is press on the button of the device. The device consists of an ATmega328 microcontroller, GSM module, GPS modules. The system resembles a normal device which when activated, tracks the place of the women using GPS (Global Positioning System) and sends emergency messages and call using GSM (Global System for Mobile communication), to family member and the police control room. The main advantage of this system is that the user does not require a Smartphone unlike other applications that have been developed earlier. The use of these project components ensures accuracy and makes it reliable. The system provides with all the features which will leave no stone unturned to help the dupe in any kind of emergency situations. In many situations the aid of safety device that will inform the victim's family members may help women feel safer, confident and reduce the chances of harassment. This project provides facility to protect the women’s by providing wireless key GSM module with controller. As the women feels uncertain at that time she can press the button then the GSM modules are started .GSM module will send SMS which contains the latitude and longitude co-ordinates to the numbers such as family members and police station which are already stored in microcontroller memory.

Optimize Machining Parameters in Turning Operation Using Genetic Algorithm and Network Fitting Tool Modeling[]

Turning process is one of complicated operations to control its cutting parameters because it depends upon several conflicting cutting parameters that must be adjusted at the same time accurately. In this research, minimization of cutting temperature, work piece surface roughness and cutting time are achieved. A mild steel material type JIS S45C and a tungsten carbide insert type SPG-422 Grade E30 are used as workpiece and cutting tool materials. The temperature of primary plastic deformation zone which called shearing zone, and secondary deformation zone which called chip slides on the rake face zone are measured. This paper adopts the utilization Genetic Algorithm (GA) to achieve the minimization operation.


In this era, technology has advanced small devices such as laptop, tablet and mobiles. Their productivity has also been in-creased. We know that each device has different screen sizes. Now it has become a challenge for a developer that how to organize a web content and display on screen. In this paper, a comparison of different types of responsive approaches has been presented.
